The basic premise of the toy is that no matter how you tumble these toys, they always end up upright every time. After going through leftover easter trinkets, I saw that those plastic easter eggs are the perfect vessel for a little Weeble action. Starting out small, I tested tried making my own Weeble. The process was so darn easy, I figure I have to share it with all the people out there trying to figure out what to do with their leftover plastic eggs.Everyone can enjoy these fun toys, here are some great uses:Easter celebration funUnique Desktop trinketsMake Weebles of your family, friends, co-workersMake some great party favors!Activity with the kids on the cheap. The ones we will be making are probably not of the baby or small child safe caliber, but they are still fun for most ages! Step 1: Materials NeededShow All Items

To turn a plastic egg into a Weeble, you don't need very much: 1) Plastic Eggs - The more rounded ones are more Wobbly, but they are harder to balance, the squat-bottomed eggs are my preference. 2) Hot Glue - This will be your best friend when making the Weeble. Just don't burn yourself! 3) A Weight - The cheapest route is a stack of 5 - 8 pennies taped together. I prefer using a big nut. (Not the kind you eat, but the kind used to fasten bolts. That's all you need, but if you want to decorate your Weeble, you have a ton of choices. Adhesive address label paper and a printer (My favorite) You will need scissors or an hobby knife to cut pictures out.
